Every morning, our six-year-old daughter, Alice, asks the same question:

“Mom, are we going to the restaurant today?”

To most children, a restaurant is a place to eat.

To Alice, it’s home.

She has grown up between the dining room and the kitchen—taking her first steps here,

drawing pictures at her favorite table, and greeting familiar guests with a smile after school.

Many of our customers met Alice when she was just a newborn,

sleeping peacefully behind little signs that read,

“Baby Sleeping,” during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As Alice grew, so did Chiang Mai Thai Cookhouse.

Our story has never been just about food.

It’s about family, resilience, and sharing the flavors of Chiang Mai with the community we now call home.

Every bowl of Khao Soi, every curry, and every meal we serve carries the same promise:
